The Forgefiend is going to start seeing some play in 9th - it’s cost is great; it can move and shoot without penalty; benefit from Cults; and can fill both close combat and shooting roles (but not quite as well as the Defiler). Make sure to understand the limitations of the guns and how you plan to use it as a way to pick the best option (what can shoot in combat?).
Notes
- Plasma not to be overlooked with new blast rule but make sure you take the Demon Jaws to help it if assaulted
- Hades will give you better close combat options as you can shoot, unlike blast weapons
- Remember to use Demonforge to improve output
