9th Edition

  • Performance: Unchanged
  • Cost: -1
  • Strategy: -1

Ahriman may no longer be an auto-include in every army, but he’s still a beast. There aren’t lots of ways to get +1 to cast and his extra power can really help with the reduced HQ slots available. However, Exalted Sorcerers at their new point cost make his relative cost higher and Ahriman doesn’t get any real benefit from the recent Ritual of the Damned changes.

Notes

  • Ahriman suffers a slight increase in points in line with the rest of the game
  • Exalted Sorcerers now compete for his slot in an army, no longer an auto-take
  • Cannot make use of Cult bonuses
  • Still a bad ass on the table

Notes

  • This guy is an auto-include in any Thousand Sons army
  • Probably shouldn’t be your warlord since it’s fixed to one thats not that great
  • If you are not running Magnus, this guy should be your offensive firepower in the Psychic phase
  • If you are running Magnus, he makes a great “Buff” cannon to stack all your enhancement spells on, such as Warptime, Glamour of Tzeentch, and Weaver of Fates - all things you’ll be trying to throw onto Magnus
