It’s finally time to start taking Chaos Spawns seriously. Their base stats are okay but with the Thousand Sons they get pretty mean, when you consider for 1CP you can boost each spawn’s attacks by 2 and re-roll the base number of attacks. The real value is the fact that you can take a unit of 4 under 100pts. The key in 9th is their ability to move through walls, which was a hindrance in 8th to getting them into combat.

Notes

  • Gains the ability to move through walls like Infantry in 8th
  • Able to take advantage of Cult options
  • Sneaky good in combat with stratagem from Codex
  • Make sure they hit first
